Jewelry Course
Create jewellery of your own design using the lost-wax casting method.
In the jewellery course you will learn the basics of working with the most commonly used jewellery tools and basic techniques. You will go through all the stages of jewellery making, both practically and theoretically - from research, design and model making to the realisation in precious metals and their subsequent presentation.
The main technology will be the lost-wax casting method, where you will try your hand at sawing, soldering, grinding and polishing. The main material we will work with is silver, but we will also work with jeweller’s wax, plasticine and paper. The result of the course should be at least one original piece of jewellery of your own design. (Financial participation of the student in the realisation of the final product is required).

Who is the lecturer
Anna Rusínová & Katarína Nábilková
Anna Rusínová (*1998, Brno) je absolventkou ateliéru K.O.V. na pražské UMPRUM. V rámci studia absolvovala také zahraniční stáž na Oslo National Academy of the Arts v ateliéru Metal and Jewellery.
Její práce byla nominována na Talente – Masters of the Future v Mnichově (2023), Czech Grand Design v kategorii Objev roku (2024) a Vogue CS Talent (2025).

V procesu tvorby často zkoumá křehkost materiálu, atmosféru a moment, kdy se intimní vzpomínky jednotlivce i širší kolektivní vrstvy paměti promítají do fyzické formy.
