Adobe Graphic Programs and Figma I
Learn how to use the key graphics programs - Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Figma.
This course, focusing on the key graphics programs that are Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, and now Figma (purchased by Adobe in September 2022), will teach you how to effectively use the software to create print materials, design graphics for websites and mobile apps, and edit vector computer graphics.
You will learn the key processes, learn to use the softwares’ advantages and understand the disadvantages of each program, learn how to prepare the right data for different types of print and online environments. The course aims to lead you to the ability to produce artisan quality designs (e.g. business card, poster, brochure, simple website…).
The introductory part of the course (most often the first two lessons) is dedicated to the introduction of the environment of individual programs and their tools. This is followed by assignments based on real-world tasks. The assignments are designed in such a way that at the end of the course, each students should have produced a final output.
