Kamil Ansorge has been in the field of design and motion design for over nine years. He studied multimedia in high school and then worked for 3 years at the design studio Incube as a junior graphic designer and motion designer. He also worked in cinematography for several years, specialising in camera work. Now he works as a freelancer and simultaneously studying the last year at Scholastika with a focus on motion design. He also works as a teaching assistant at Scholastika and is one of the leaders of the course “Studio Practice” (Atelierová praxe). In his profession, he is mainly involved in 2D motion design, which he likes to complement with stylised 3D animation. He has worked on many projects, for example for O2, Heureka, Mixit, Iqos, XPS network, etc. In 2022, he co-created an installation at the designblock for Scholastika, where he created an interactive projection, and this installation was nominated for the best school presentation. Recently, he has been working on interactive projections, installations and VJing in addition to motion design. He has been working in After Effects animation software for over 10 years and creates 90% of all projects in it.

Kristyna Greplová Krahulíková graduated from the Graphic Design and Visual Communication Studio of Professor Rostislav Vaněk at Prague UMPRUM. Already during her studies she started working as a graphic designer at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art. This cooperation continued for the next eight years, during which she participated in the complete preparation of the visual presentation of exhibitions within DOX (poster design, accompanying materials - books, brochures) and gradually other independent art institutions. Subsequently, she completed a one-year scholarship at the Indonesian Institute of Arts Denpasar in Bali and after her return she has been working successfully as an independent graphic designer. She has designed the visuals for many books on modern art (and related topics) and has won several awards. Her work primarily emphasizes the role of typography. Currently, in addition to fulfilling her maternal duties, she collaborates with several book publishers, the Brno University of Technology and graphic studios.

Markéta Ježková studied art history, aesthetics and French language at Charles University and ULB in Brussels. She is mainly interested in Renaissance and Mannerist art and the phenomenon of 16th-20th century sovereign collections. For more than ten years he has been cooperating with the Education Department of the National Gallery in Prague and works at the Centre of Rudolphine Studies of the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Long time autodidact, started studying at 40. He graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Photography and then graphic design, photography, art history, design history and multimedia at Scholastika. When designing books, brochures, magazines, websites or music covers, he tries to combine typographic craft with contemporary graphic design. He has been lecturing since 2010 and his students include professional photographers and Czech Press Photo award winners. His graphic design publication What I Dream About won the main prize of the Fedrigoni Card Couture Awards 2017 - Das außergewöhnlichste Projekt (Exceptional Achievement).

He graduated from the Faculty of Education of the Masaryk University, majoring in art education and visual creation and graphic design at the Brno University of Technology. From the beginning he focused on animated graphics and video. He started as an Apple Certified Trainer for Final Cut and Motion and also worked as a freelance editor and motion designer. He has been involved in the production of many live projections, music videos and television graphics. He has also taught animation and 3D graphics as an educator at an art high school. He then joined Czech Television as an art director and motion designer, where he designed and implemented graphics for dozens of shows across channels and two complex redesigns of CT sport. After six years at CT, he moved to a marketing agency for mobile games and apps as a motion designer and now works again as a lecturer, motion designer and freelance animator.

Marta Maštálková graduated from Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the UMPRUM in Prague. She is mainly involved in the creation of visual identities, book typesetting and graphic design of exhibitions. Her most recent work in this field is, for example, the exhibition and catalogue Zenger’s Transformation Station: Electricity in the City, Electricity in Architecture for Kunsthalle Prague. She enjoys looking at the function of graphic design in public space and its effect on the environment. She is interested in its overlap with other disciplines. She has collaborated with architects a1architects, Papelote, the Proměny Foundation, the glass company Preciosa a.s (JSC)…. She currently combines her graphic work with teaching Pilates Body and Mind classes. She enjoys the forest, mountains, bodies of water and cooking.

Sára Matysová studied art history at Charles University and textile design at UMPRUM in Prague. Her work is appreciated in the Czech Republic and abroad and has appeared in a number of European capitals, including Dutch Design Week in the Netherlands and the Heimtextil textile fair in Frankfurt am Main. She is the co-founder of the studio and brand IHOR, with which she regularly exhibits at the Prague Designblok design festival, and collaborates with a number of representatives of the textile industry in the Czech Republic, such as Hedva Český Brokát, Tkalcovna Kubák, Schindler’s Knitting Mill and Moravská Tapestry Manufactory. She has received several nominations for her work in textiles and beyond. She has been nominated for the Czech Grand Design Award, the EDIDA Award and the Designblok Award.

Barbora Müllerová works as an illustrator, book designer and curator of the LUSTR festival of illustration and comics. She mainly works for non-profit organisations dealing with human rights and the environment, illustrating popular literature on scientific topics, children’s books and occasionally cultural periodicals. In recent years, she has also experimented with comics, publishing for example in the Finnish anthology Kuti or in the Czech comics fanzine XRX. From 2017-2022 she was a teacher at the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem, and from 2022 she has been teaching illustration at the Scholastika University of Applied Sciences. She is also involved in illustration and comics as a theoretician and curator: as part of her doctoral studies at FUD UJEP, she focused on strategies of socially engaged illustration and comics, as a curator she has prepared a number of exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad, and from 2020 she has been in charge of the main exhibition section of the largest Czech trade show LUSTR. Since 2022, she has been part of the Czech Design Academy and sits on the jury selecting the Illustrator of the Year in the Czech Grand Design survey. Thanks to her experience from her own work and curatorial work, she is able to offer her students both practical know-how and a rich overview of what is currently happening in the field of illustration and comics in the Czech Republic and internationally.

Petra and Kateřina (P1A) met while studying at the Faculty of Architecture in Prague. They started their collaboration by renovating a private contemporary art gallery in the centre of Prague. This was followed by renovations of flats and houses in Prague and its surroundings. Last year, the projects were extended beyond the borders of Prague, across the Czech Republic. They completed a project for a new spa extension in Třeboň, South Bohemia, and the reconstruction of an apartment in Karlovy Vary. They have now teamed up with other creative professions, led by designers and graphic artists, to form a multidisciplinary team to collaborate on the design of the Czech pavilion for EXPO 2025. They won the Jury Prize for this design, called the Czech Mush Room. The interdisciplinary collaboration started further possibilities for the development of the studio in the form of cultural events, harbouring mutual support, promotion, but above all inspiration. They believe that quality architecture needs time, open communication, mutual respect and trust between architect, investor and builder. All of these aspects they continue to strive to fulfil in their work with pleasure.

Jitka Šosová is a graduate of Art History at Charles University in Prague and History and Theory of Design and New Media at the Academy of Arts and Design (UMPRUM). She has been working for many years at the National Gallery in Prague and also cooperates with other museums and galleries, for example with the Kampa Museum in Prague or the Klatovy/Klenová Gallery as a curator and lecturer. She is mainly interested in visual culture and art from the 1960s to the present and in the methodology of art history. She contributes to print and online media, and has also published a number of professional texts.

Mgr. Pavel Brejcha designs clothing, footwear and fashion accessories, working both in the field of industrial design and in the free concept of fashion design. He defines his personal style in terms of “constructivist vs impressionist” - this dialogue between form and emotion is reflected throughout his work. He studied at VŠUV in Bratislava and VŠUP in Prague and graduated from Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. He has worked for Balenciaga, Zara, and a consulting agency for trend development, Peclers, and eventually founded his own brand. He was also the creative director of the Polish fashion chain Reserved and a university lecturer at the University of Tomáš Baťa in Zlín. He received several Czech Grand Design nominations for his work and regularly participated in presentations at Designblok and Prague Fashion week. He currently works as a freelance designer and devotes himself to his own design work.

Matěj Janský and Cyril Dunděra design furniture for foreign brands and private clients. They focus on interior design and exhibition installations. They also produce furniture under their own brand MCDJ. The work of the young duo can be seen in galleries and design events in Milan, Paris, Brussels and Prague. The UMPRUM graduates have worked abroad for Claesson Koivisto Rune studio in Stockholm, glassbrand Lasvit in London or LehmTonErde specialising in steamed clay in Saudi Arabia. Products with their designs are offered by Cappellini, Lasvit and Kler, among others, and have won the German Design Award Special 2023, the Balthazar Award 2022, EDIDA 2022 and BIGSEE Wood Design 2022.

Magdalena Šťastníková graduated from the K.O.V. studio, Concept - Object - Meaning, at UMPRUM in Prague. Her work is characterised by an abstract, organic and fluid morphology, with jewellery often extending beyond the human body and into the space beyond. The relationship between jewellery and the body is the main theme of her work. Magdalena creates jewellery that is unisex and wearable and combinable in multiple ways. She is inspired by feelings, nature and utopian imaginations. In addition to collections and custom jewellery, she often collaborates with leading Czech fashion designers and her work complements fashion shows. She was nominated for Jewellery Designer of the Year in the Czech Grand Design Awards for 2021 and 2022. Since 2021 she has been running her own brand under her own name.
