Series of lectures about architecture and design: Around the World for Architecture
Explore the world of modern architecture and design with Adam Štěch.
Adam Štěch, curator, historian of design and architecture and long-time teacher at Scholastika, has prepared a series of lectures focused on the architecture and design of specific cities around the world that he has visited as part of his research. He has documented a variety of examples and phenomena of modern architecture and design, which he will now present to you in the series “Around the World for Architecture”.
Each lecture will reveal the stories of architects and designers associated with specific places against the backdrop of complex historical and cultural contexts, personal moments and travel tips.
It is a subjective yet all-encompassing guide to well-known metropolises, but also to regional cities that are not so well explored.
